Session Free Practice 1 Fact Pit lane speeding – 96.7 km/h Infringement Breach of Article B1.6.3a.i of the FIA F1 Regulations.
Decision The competitor (Cadillac Formula 1 Team) is fined €1000. Reason Car 11 exceeded the pit lane speed limit which is set at 80 km/h for this event by 16.7 km/h. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
