Session Qualifying Fact Pit lane speeding – 88.5 km/h Infringement Breach of Article B1.6.3a of the FIA F1 Regulations.
Decision The competitor (McLaren Mastercard F1 Team) is fined €900. Reason Car 1 exceeded the pit lane speed limit which is set at 80 km/h for this event by 8.5 km/h. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
