Time 21:56 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Race Fact Car 44 left the track in turn 1 Infringement Alleged breach of Article B1.8.6 of the FIA F1 Regulations.

Decision No further action. Reason The Stewards reviewed video, timing and in-car video evidence. Car 44 left the track in turn 1 while the driver was defending his position to Car 1. However, the overtaking attempt by Car 1 was not a legitimate one as Car 1 also left the track at the same point. Therefore the Stewards determine that both cars rejoined the track in the correct order. Having done so, both Car 44 and Car 1 lost their positions to Car 12 which was behind them when they left the track. Given all that, the Stewards determine that no further action is warranted in this case. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
