The Stewards, having received a Petition for a Right of Review, from Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, dated June 12, 2026, and having now been advised by the Competitor that is wishes to withdraw its Petition.
DECIDE that the Deposit of €20,000, required for the Petition, be returned to the Competitor.
Reasons In accordance with Article 14.4.3 of the FIA International Sporting Code, the Stewards consider that the circumstances dictate the return of the Deposit.
The above Decision is subject to appeal in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
