Session Qualifying Fact The following Power Unit elements have been used: 6th Energy Store (ES) 6th Control Electronics Unit (PU-CE)

5th MGU-K All listed Power Unit elements were replaced without the approval of the FIA Technical Delegate during parc fermé. Infringement Breaches of Article B8.2.2 (read in conjunction with B8.2.3), B3.5.3 and B3.5.4 of the FIA F1 Regulations. Decision Required to start the Race from the pit lane. Reason As parts were replaced under parc ferme conditions without the approval of the Technical Delegate a pit lane start is mandated in accordance with Article B3.5.3.a. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
