The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Fact The driver of Car 16 appeared not to take appropriate action when yellow flags were displayed at Turn 2. Infringement Alleged breach of Article B1.8.4a of the FIA F1 Regulations. Decision No further action. Reason The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video, telemetry and incar video evidence. As Car 16 (Charles Leclerc) was approaching Turn, 2 a single yellow flag was displayed because Car 87 (Oliver Bearman) had spun after the apex of Turn 2. The yellow flag sector was only 90 metres. Car 16 had already committed to braking for Turn 2 at the point the driver could first have sighted the yellow flag. Car 16 slowed through Turn 2 and did not gain on a car ahead of Car 16 as he passed Car 87. Given the very short notice the driver received of the yellow flag, the Stewards were satisfied that the driver had complied sufficiently with the expectations of a driver in the circumstances.
Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
