Time 12:19 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Sprint Fact Exceeding minimum time set by ECU behind safety car Infringement Breach of Article B5.13.2b of the FIA F1 Regulations.
Decision 5 second time penalty. Reason The Stewards reviewed timing data which showed that Car 11 failed to stay above the minimum time for 2 mini sectors during the SC Deployment and the Stewards determined therefore that the Driver of Car 11 breached Article B5.13.2.b of the 2026 FIA F1 Regulations. The Stewards imposed a 5 second time penalty on Car 11 accordingly.
Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
