Time 13:44 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Sprint Fact Car 11 collided with Car 14 at Turn 3 on Lap 2. Infringement Breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 2 d) of the FIA International Sporting Code. Decision 10 second time penalty. Reason The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video, timing, telemetry

and in-car video evidence. Car 11 attempted to overtake Car 14 on the inside of Turn 3. However, Car 11 had not established its front axle at least alongside the mirror of Car 14 prior to and at the apex. Car 11 made contact with the right-rear of Car 14, causing Car 14 to spin. The Stewards determined that Car 11 was wholly at fault for the collision and therefore imposed the standard of a 10 second time penalty. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
