Session Free Practice 1 Fact The following Power Unit elements have been used: 5th Engine (ICE) 5th Turbocharger (TC)
5th Exhaust Set (EXH)
Infringement Breach of Article B8.2.2 (read with Article B8.2.3) of the FIA F1 Regulations.
Decision Drop of 30 grid positions for the next Race in which the driver participates. (Subject to Car 6 being classified in the results of qualifying, Car 6 will be allocated a grid position in the race in accordance with Article B2.5.4b.iv of the FIA F1 Regulations) Reason The penalty is imposed in accordance with Article B8.2.8 of the FIA F1 Regulations. The use of each additional element in this case carries a 10 grid place penalty. Therefore there is an accumulation of 30 places. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits. Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
