From The Stewards

To The Team Manager,

Oracle Red Bull Racing Document 69 Date 26 September 2026 Time 19:53

TThe Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, summoned (document 62) and heard from the driver and team representative, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

No / Driver 6 - Isack Hadjar Competitor Oracle Red Bull Racing Time 14:20 Session Reconnaissance Laps Fact Failure to follow Race Directors instruction. Infringement Alleged breach of Article 12.2.1.i of the International Sporting Code and noncompliance with Race Director's Competition Note (item 13.6, document 56) – Practice start infringement at 14:20. Decision Driver: Warning. Reason The Stewards heard from the driver of Car 6 (Isack Hadjar), team representative and reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video, timing, telemetry, team radio and in-car video evidence. During the reconnaissance laps, HAD approached the Pit Exit where several cars were ahead of him. HAD did not ultimately perform a practice start. Paragraph 13.6 of the Race Director's Competition Notes requires a car not wishing to perform a practice start to cross the white line separating the Pit Exit Road from the track at the earliest opportunity and join the normal racing line. Instead, HAD remained within the Pit Exit Road and passed to the right of the cars ahead before joining the track. The Stewards therefore determine that HAD failed to follow the Race Director's instructions. The Stewards nevertheless considered that there were mitigating circumstances. HAD had initially intended to perform a practice start himself, but had to abort that attempt quite late and restart. The Stewards accepted that this sequence contributed to the driver being distracted and to his failure to follow the prescribed procedure. While the driver remains responsible for complying with the Race Director's instructions, the Stewards considered these circumstances sufficient to mitigate the penalty. Having also considered comparable previous incidents, the Stewards therefore determine that a Warning, rather than a Driving Reprimand, is appropriate.

Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

The Stewards Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
