To The Team Manager, Cadillac Formula 1 Team Document 55 Date 28 June 2026
Time 19:18 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:
No / Driver 11 - Sergio Perez Competitor Cadillac Formula 1 Team
Time 15:03
Session Race Fact Car 11 moved prior to the start signal. Infringement Breach of Article B5.11.1 of the FIA F1 Regulations. Decision No penalty is applied.
Reason The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data and in-car video evidence. The car moved before the start signal was given. This normally warrants a 5 second penalty (which would not convert into a grid drop for the next race). However, as the car had already retired from the race at the time the incident was brought to the attention of the Stewards, it does not seem appropriate to apply any time penalty. Therefore the Stewards decide not to impose any penalty.
Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
