Time 21:00 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Race Fact Collison with Car 44 in Turn 14. Infringement Breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 2 d) of the FIA International Sporting Code. Decision 5 second time penalty.

1 penalty point (total of 5 for the 12 month period). Reason The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video and in-car video evidence. Car 44 overtook Car 23 on the straight before Turn 14, then Car 23 attempted to regain the position and in doing so he misjudged his proximity to Car 44 and his front wing collided with the rear left wheel of Car 44. In mitigation of penalty, this was a relavitively minor collision and Car 44 was unaffected by the incident. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
