Time 17:13 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Race Fact Car 12 forced Car 23 onto the grass at high speed before Turn 3 Infringement Breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 2 e) of the International Sporting Code. Decision 5 second time penalty.

1 penalty point (total of 5 for the 12 month period).

Reason The Stewards reviewed video and in-car video evidence. Car 23 had a run on Car 12 after Turn 2 and into Turn 3. When Car 23 was in the process of pulling alongside Car 12 at high speed the driver of Car 12 moved to the left and squeezed Car 23 who had two wheels on the grass. The Stewards determine that by doing this he drove in a manner deemed potentially dangerous to Car 23. However, the Stewards also acknowledge that the driver of Car 23 was able to maintain control of his car and was subsequently able to overtake Car 12 into Turn 4. A 5 seconds time penalty is deemed sufficient in this case given the circumstances. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
