Time 17:53 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Race Fact Car 10 collided with Car 55 in Turn 4 Infringement Breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 2 d) of the International Sporting Code.

Decision 10 second time penalty. 2 penalty points (total of 2 for the 12 month period) Reason The Stewards reviewed video and in-car video evidence. Car 55 attempted an overtake on the outside on Car 10 into Turn 4. Car 55 had its front axle ahead of the front axle of Car 10 at the apex and therefore had the right to the racing line according to the Driving Standard Guidelines. Car 10 tried to retake the position but thereby collided with Car 55. The Stewards determine that the driver of Car 10 is wholly at fault and impose the standard penalty for such incidents. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
