Technical Delegate's Report After the race in Baku, car number 81 was randomly chosen among the top ten cars for more
extensive physical inspections.
Subject to these physical inspections was the rear brake system. The following points were examined: TR Article 3.13.2 – Drums
TR Article 3.13.3 – Scoops TR Article 3.13.4 – Internal cooling ducts TR Article 3.13.5 – Front drum deflector TR Article 3.13.6 – Rear drum deflector TR Article 8.3 – Homologation status for all sensors and actuators relating to the rear brake system
TR Article 11.1 – Failure mode of the system and dimensional design constraints of the master cylinder TR Article 11.1 – Mechanisms that could provide asymmetric braking torques for a given axle TR Article 11.4 – Pressure in the rear calipers does not increase above that achieved by the applied force to the brake pedal Accuracy of the schematics supplied as part of TD001 submission in comparison with the physical system All inspected components were found to be in conformance with the 2024 Formula One Technical Regulations.
