Time 16:11 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Sprint Fact Leaving the track and gaining a lasting advantage. Infringement Breach of Article 33.3 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations.

Decision 10 second time penalty. Reason The Stewards reviewed video evidence and determined that the car left the track at turn 11 and gained a lasting advantage. Car 20 and Car 44 were fighting for positions and this enabled Car 20 to stay ahead of Car 44. The Stewards noted that this was the second infringement of a similar nature during the session. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
