Time 20:11 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Race Fact Leaving the track and gaining a lasting advantage. Infringement Breach of Article 33.3 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision 10 second time penalty. Reason The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video, team radio and

in-car video evidence and determined that Car 18 left the track at Turn 1, overtook Car 23, and thereby gained a lasting advantage. Car 18 did not thereafter give the advantage back, which is a breach of Article 33.3 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. We accordingly impose a 10 second penalty.

Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
