Time 20:41 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, summoned (document 56) and heard from the driver and team representative, have considered the following matter and determine

the following:

Session Qualifying Fact Cars lining up at pit exit prior to the start of a session. Infringement Alleged breach of Article 34.8 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision No further action.

Reason The Stewards heard from the driver of Car 10 (Pierre Gasly), team representative and video evidence and determined that Car 10 attempted to form up in the fast lane and had part of his car in the fast lane but had to stop and thereafter join slowly to allow an approaching car in the fast lane and in the process allowed another car (Car 31) to pass him. What Car 10 did was not in breach of Article 34.8 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations.

Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
