Session Race Fact Failure to serve a penalty during a pit stop.
Infringment Breach of Article 54.4 (c) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations Decision 10 second time penalty Reason Car 27 entered the pits having received a 5 second penalty previously. The pit stop was observed on multiple angles of video by the FIA Race Operations Centre and subsequently was checked by the Stewards and the team failed to serve the full 5 seconds penalty before working on the car. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
