A seal was broken on the gearbox of car number 16, driver Charles Leclerc, in order to inspect all change gear ratio pairs and associated dog rings for physical damage, and, as a consequence of this inspection, to replace the 4  change gear ratio pair and the 2  / 4  gear dog ring for new ones of identical specification. This was done in accordance with Article 29.3 a) iii) of the 2022 Formula One Sporting Regulations.

The forward change gear ratio pairs of the gearbox of car number 16, driver Charles Leclerc, were

checked and found to be in compliance with Articles 9.6.1, 9.7.3 and 9.7.4 of the 2022 Formula One Technical Regulations. th nd th
