A seal was broken on the gearbox of car number 03, driver Daniel Ricciardo, in order to inspect all change gear ratio pairs and associated dog rings for physical damage, and, as a consequence of this inspection, to replace the 7  change gear ratio pair for a new one of identical specification. This was done in accordance with Article 29.3 a) iii) of the 2022 Formula One Sporting Regulations.

The cockpit exit time according to Article 12.5.1 of the 2022 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations

and the clearance of the driver's knees according to Article 12.5.4 d) of the 2022 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations have been successfully checked with the driver Liam Lawson. th
