Session Race Fact Personnel touched the car after the 15 second warning during the starting procedure and the car consequently failed to start from the Pit Lane.
Offence Breach of Article 44.6 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision 10 Seconds Stop and Go. Reason The Stewards reviewed the video evidence and determined that a member of the team touched the car after the 15 second warning during the starting procedure. There is a mandatory requirement under Article 44.6 for the car to start from the Pit Lane in these circumstances and if the car fails to do so, a mandatory 10 Seconds Stop and Go penalty is imposed. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
