A seal was broken on the gearbox of car number 11, driver Sergio Perez, in order to replace the rear impact structure.
This was done under FIA supervision in accordance with Article 29.3 a) of the 2022 Formula One Sporting Regulations.
A seal was broken on the first gearbox of car number 14, driver Fernando Alonso, in order to inspect all change gear ratio pairs and associated dog rings for physical damage, and, as a consequence of this inspection, to replace the 4 change gear ratio pair and the 5 / 7 gear dog ring for new ones of identical specification. This was done under FIA supervision in accordance with Article 29.3 a) iii) of the 2022 Formula One
