Technical Delegate's Report

The following driver will start the fourteenth Event of the 2020 Formula One World Championship with a new internal combustion engine (ICE):

Number Car Driver Previously used ICE

63 Williams Mercedes George Russell 3

The internal combustion engine used by George Russell is the fourth new internal combustion engine for the 2020 Championship season. As this is in not in compliance with Article 23.3a of the 2020 Formula One Sporting Regulations, I am referring this matter to the stewards for their consideration.

The following driver will start the fourteenth Event of the 2020 Formula One World Championship with a new turbocharger (TC):

63 Williams Mercedes George Russell 3

The turbocharger used by George Russell is the fourth new turbocharger for the 2020 Championship season. As this is in not in compliance with Article 23.3a of the 2020 Formula One Sporting Regulations, I am referring this matter to the stewards for their consideration.

The following driver will start the fourteenth Event of the 2020 Formula One World Championship with a new motor generator unit-heat (MGU-H):

63 Williams Mercedes George Russell 3

The motor generator unit-heat used by George Russell is the fourth new motor generator unit-heat for the 2020 Championship season. As this is in not in compliance with Article 23.3a of the 2020 Formula One Sporting Regulations, I am referring this matter to the stewards for their consideration.

The following drivers will start the fourteenth Event of the 2020 Formula One World Championship with a new motor generator unit-kinetic (MGU-K):

11 Racing Point BWT Mercedes Sergio Perez 2 63 Williams Mercedes George Russell 2

The motor generator unit-kinetic used by the above drivers is one of the three new motor generator units-kinetic allowed for the 2020 Championship season and this is in conformity with Article 23.3a of the 2020 Formula One Sporting Regulations.
