The Stewards, having received a document from BWT Racing Point F1 Team, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

No / Driver 18 – Lance Stroll, 11 – Sergio Perez

Competitor BWT Racing Point F1 Team

Time 11:55

Fact Rear brake ducts of car 18 and car 11

Offence Breach of Articles 2.1 and 3.2. of the FIA F1 Sporting Regulations.

Decision No further investigation necessary; no penalty will be imposed.

Reason BWT Racing Point F1 Team submitted to the Stewards a confirmation that the rear brake ducts used in the 2020 Russian Grand Prix are of the same specification as those run by the team in the previous F1 events since 2020 Styrian Grand Prix.

With reference to the Steward's Protest Decisions of 07 August 2020 and the Steward's decision according to Doc. 47 of the Tuscan Grand Prix 2020, the content of which is hereby fully complied with, the Stewards see no reason to request further reports or to initiate any investigations into the brake ducts mentioned.

Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 10.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
