Technical Delegate's Report
The following driver will start the third Event of the 2020 Formula One World Championship with a new gearbox:

99 Alfa Romeo Racing Ferrari Antonio Giovinazzi
Antonio Giovinazzi had to replace his previous gearbox during the last Event for a spare gearbox and this was before the six consecutive Events expired. Therefore he may use a new gearbox at this Event and the six consecutive Events will start here in accordance with Article 23.5a of the 2020 Formula One Sporting Regulations.
A seal was broken on the gearbox of car numbers 63, driver George Russell, and 06, driver Nicholas Latifi, in order to inspect the 5th change gear ratio pairs and associated dog rings for physical damage, and, as a consequence of this inspection, to replace the 5th change gear ratio pairs for new ones of identical specification.
This was done in accordance with Article 23.5d of the 2020 Formula One Sporting Regulations.
The forward change gear ratio pairs of the gearbox of car number 63, driver George Russell, were checked and found to be in compliance with Article 9.6.3 of the 2020 Formula One Technical Regulations.
