Date 10 October 2020 Time 14:10 2020 EIFEL GRAND PRIX 8 - 11 October 2020 The Stewards have received a request from BWT Racing Point F1 Team to change the driver of car 18, Lance Stroll. In accordance with Article 26.1 a) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations, the Stewards grant permission for the driver, Nico Hulkenberg, with the car number 27, to participate in the 2020 Eifel Grand Prix in place of Lance Stroll. The Stewards note that Nico Hulkenberg meets the licensing requirements. The driver of car 27 is required to use the engine, gearbox and tyres which were allocated to the original driver, Lance Stroll as detailed under Article 26.1 c) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Further, this permission is subject to Nico Hulkenberg passing the scrutineering requirements. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 10.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
