Session Race Fact Failure to slow under the safety car

Offence Breach of Article 39.7 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations Decision 5 Second Time Penalty (1 penalty point imposed, total of 2 points in the 12 month period) Reason The Stewards reviewed telemetry evidence and determined that Giovinazzi was below the minimum required time set by the FIA ECU. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 10.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time
