Session Practice 1 Fact Car 8 did not use the track at the exit of turn 11, and was deemed to have gained a lasting advantage.
Offence Breach of Appendix L, Ch IV, Article 2c of the FIA International Sporting Code. Decision Deletion of lap time (1:25.868) as per Article 12.3.1.d of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 31.4 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Reason The Stewards reviewed video and received timing information from the Race Director. The car left the track during practice 1 and set a fast time. Penalty was applied according to 12.4. a) of the Race Directors Event Notes (version 2). Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 9.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
