Offence Breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV Article 2 of the FIA International Sporting Code, read with Article 38.1 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision 10 second time penalty 2 penalty points imposed (total of 4 in the 12 month period) Reason The Stewards reviewed video evidence. Approaching Turn 16 car 27 was in front of car 26. When entering the corner car 26 hit the back of car 27, causing the car to spin and hit the outside wall. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 9.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
