Session Race Fact Car 44 entered the pit lane on the wrong side of the bollard.

Offence Breach of Appendix L Ch. IV Article 4d of the FIA International Sporting Code. Decision 5 second time penalty. (1 penalty points awarded, 2 points in total for the 12 month period) Reason The Stewards reviewed video evidence, and car 44 clearly drove across the area between the track and the pit entry, which starts at the bollard at the entry, as defined by the Race Directors Note point 8.2 (document 11). This is a breach of Appendix L Ch. IV Article 4d of the FIA International Sporting Code. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 9.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
