Session Practice 3 Fact Car 4 went to the right of the bollard at turn 14 contrary to the Race Directors Note no 9.1 (document 2). Offence Breach of Article 12.1.1.i of the FIA International Sporting Code.

Decision No Further Action. Reason The Stewards reviewed video evidence, heard from the driver of car 4 (Lando Norris) and the team representative. The Driver of Car 4 has not followed the Race Director's Note no 9.1, which requires the Cars overshooting the chicane in Turn 14 to drive around the bollard prior to rejoining the Track. The Stewards acknowledge that the Driver of Car 4 slowed sufficiently and re-joined the Track in a safe manner. Furthermore, given the offence was committed during Free Practice 3, no sporting advantage was gained. The competitors are reminded, that during Qualifying Practice and the Race the Race Director's notes will be enforced in a stricter manner. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 9.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
