Session Qualifying Fact The Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), Turbocharger (TC), Motor Generator Unit – Heat (MGU-H), and rear wing assembly have been changed whilst under Parc Ferme.

Offence Breach of Article 34.2 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision Required to start the race from the pit lane. Reason The changed power unit elements are of a different specification and rear wing assembly has been changed from those used during qualifying, the parts were replaced with the approval of the FIA Technical Delegate as per Article 34.2. As the parts listed above have been replaced and the setup of the suspension has been changed whilst the car was in parc ferme, the competitor is required to start the race from the pit lane per Article 34.6 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 9.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
