Time 20:23 2019 AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX 27 - 30 June 2019 The Stewards, having received a report from the Technical Delegate (document 13), summoned (document 15) and heard from the team representatives, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

No / Driver 99 - Antonio Giovinazzi Competitor Alfa Romeo Racing Time 15:08 Session Practice 2 Fact The temperature of the fuel intended for immediate use was more than thirteen degrees centigrade below the ambient temperature recorded by the FIA appointed weather service provider one hour before the second practice session. Offence Breach of Article 6.5.2 of the FIA Formula One Technical Regulations. Decision The competitor (Alfa Romeo Racing) is fined €5,000. Reason The Stewards reviewed telemetry evidence, heard from the team representatives and the FIA Technical Delegate and determined that the temperature of the fuel intended for immediate use was more than thirteen degrees centigrade below the ambient temperature recorded by the FIA appointed weather service provider one hour before the second practice session. Per Article 6.5.2 of the 2019 Formula One Technical Regulations, no fuel intended for immediate use in a car may be more than ten degrees centigrade below the ambient temperature. In this case the ambient temperature was published to be 30 degrees centigrade and the temperature of the fuel was 17 degrees or below.The team representatives acknowledged that the temperature was below that required under the Technical Regulations. Given that this infringement occurred during Practice 2, we impose the fine set out above. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 9.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
