Date 16 March 2019 Time 20:03 2019 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 14 - 17 March 2019 The Stewards The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, summoned (document 17) and heard from the drivers and team representatives of Rich Energy Haas F1 Team and SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Qualifying Fact Unsafe release of car 20 from the garage at 17:15.

Offence Breach of Article 28.13 (a) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision The competitor (Rich Energy Haas F1 Team) is fined €5000. Reason The Stewards reviewed video evidence, heard from the drivers of Car 20 (Kevin Magnussen) and Car 11 (Sergio Perez) and the team representatives. Car 20 was released from the garage in an unsafe manner resulting in Car 11 (Sergio Perez) having to take evasive action. Competitors are reminded of their right to appeal in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code.
