Technical Delegate's Report

Between 11:00 and 16:25 today the following cars underwent initial scrutineering:

All the above cars were found to be in conformity with the safety requirements of the 2018 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations.

A seal was broken on the MGU-K of car number 28, driver Brendon Hartley, in order to replace the HV cables for new ones.

This was done in accordance with Appendix 2, Item n° 18, of the 2018 Formula One Technical Regulations.

A seal was broken on the MGU-K of car numbers 03, 27, 55, 14 and 02, drivers Daniel Ricciardo, Nico Hülkenberg, Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne in order to replace a transmission fastener for a new one.

This was done in accordance with Appendix 2, Item n° 13, of the 2018 Formula One Technical

Regulations.

A seal was broken on the gearbox of car number 14, driver Fernando Alonso, in order to inspect the change gears and associated dog rings for physical damage and as the result of this inspection to change the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th change gear ratio pair and the 1st/3rd and 5th/7th dog rings.

This was done in accordance with Article 23.5d of the 2018 Formula One Sporting Regulations.
