Technical Delegate's Report

Between 12:00 and 18:45 today the following cars underwent initial scrutineering:

Car numbers Team

44, 77 : Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport 5, 7 : Scuderia Ferrari 3, 33 : Aston Martin Red Bull Racing 11, 31 : Sahara Force India F1 Team 18, 35 : Williams Martini Racing 27, 55 : Renault Sport Formula One Team 28, 10 : Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda 8, 20 : Haas F1 Team 14, 2 : McLaren F1 Team 9, 16 : Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team

All the above cars were found to be in conformity with the safety requirements of the 2018 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations.

A seal was broken on the MGU-K of car numbers 27 and 14, drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Fernando Alonso, in order to replace a transmission fastener for a new one.

This was done in accordance with Appendix 2, Item n° 13, of the 2018 Formula One Technical Regulations.

A seal was broken on the gearbox of car number 03, driver Daniel Ricciardo, in order to inspect the oil system for any signs of contamination, in particular the oil shuttles inside the cluster chamber.
