Technical Delegate's Report

The following driver will use a new control electronics (CE) for the remainder of the Event:

NumberCar Driver Previously used CE

08 Haas Ferrari Romain Grosjean 1

The control electronics used by Romain Grosjean is one of the two new control electronics allowed for the 2018 Championship season and this is in conformity with Article 23.3a of the 2018 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The control unit was replaced yesterday after P3.

The following power unit elements have been replaced with the approval of the FIA technical delegate following a written request from the team concerned, this being in accordance with Article 34.2 of the 2018 Formula One Sporting Regulations.

The following driver will use a new internal combustion engine (ICE) for the remainder of the Event:

10 Toro Rosso Honda Pierre Gasly 3

The internal combustion engine used by Pierre Gasly is the fourth new internal combustion engine for the 2018 Championship season and this is not in conformity with Article 23.3a of the 2018 Formula One Sporting Regulations.

The following drivers will use a new a new turbocharger (TC) for the remainder of the Event:

10 Toro Rosso Honda Pierre Gasly 3 08 Haas Ferrari Romain Grosjean 2

The turbocharger used by Pierre Gasly is the fourth new turbocharger for the 2018 Championship season and this is not in conformity with Article 23.3a of the 2018 Formula One Sporting Regulations.

The turbocharger used by Romain Grosjean is one of the three new turbochargers allowed for the 2018 Championship season and this is in conformity with Article 23.3a of the 2018 Formula One Sporting Regulations.

The following drivers will use a new motor generator unit-heat (MGU-H) for the remainder of the Event:

The motor generator unit-heat used by Pierre Gasly is the fourth new motor generator unit-heat for the 2018 Championship season and this is not in conformity with Article 23.3a of the 2018 Formula One Sporting Regulations.

The motor generator unit-heat used by Romain Grosjean is one of the three new motor generator units-heat allowed for the 2018 Championship season and this is in conformity with Article 23.3a of the 2018 Formula One Sporting Regulations.

The following driver will use a new motor generator unit-kinetic (MGU-K) for the remainder of the Event:

The motor generator unit-kinetic used by Pierre Gasly is the third new motor generator units-kinetic for the 2018 Championship season and this is not in conformity with Article 23.3a of the 2018 Formula One Sporting Regulations.

The Haas F1 Team informed the technical delegate about the PU elements' change on 09 June 2018, at 16:37 hours.

The Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda team informed the technical delegate about the PU elements' change on 09 June 2018, at 19:50 hours.
