The following driver will start the seventeenth Competition of the 2026 Formula One World Championship with a new turbocharger (TC): ## Number Car Driver Previously used TC 63 Mercedes George Russell 4 The turbocharger used by George Russell is the fifth (5th) of the four (4) new turbochargers allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is not in compliance with B8.2.2 b) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The following driver will start the seventeenth Competition of the 2026 Formula One World Championship with a new exhaust set (EXH): ## Number Car Driver Previously used EXH 63 Mercedes George Russell 4 The exhaust set used by George Russell is the fifth (5th) of the four (4) new exhaust sets allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is not in compliance with B8.2.2 c) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The following driver will start the seventeenth Competition of the 2026 Formula One World Championship with a new motor generator unit-kinetic (MGU-K): ## Number Car Driver Previously used MGU-K 63 Mercedes George Russell 3 The motor generator unit-kinetic used by George Russell is the fourth (4th)of the three (3) new motor generator units-kinetic allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is not in compliance with B8.2.2 f) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The following driver will start the seventeenth Competition of the 2026 Formula One World Championship with a new energy store unit (ES): ## Number Car Driver Previously used ES 63 Mercedes George Russell 3 The energy store unit used by George Russell is the fourth (4th) of the three (3) new energy store units allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is not in compliance with B8.2.2 - d) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The following driver will start the seventeenth Competition of the 2026 Formula One World Championship with a new control electronics unit (PU-CE): ## Number Car Driver Previously used PU-CE 63 Mercedes George Russell 3 The control electronics unit used by George Russell is the fourth (4th) of the three (3) new control electronics units allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is not in compliance with B8.2.2 e) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations.
