Time 12:18 The Stewards, having received a report from the Technical Delegate (document 49), have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Qualifying Fact The following Power Unit elements have been used:

5th Energy Store (ES) 5th Control Electronics Unit (PU-CE)

Infringement Breaches of Articles B8.2.2 (read with B8.2.3) of the FIA F1 Regulations. Decision Drop of 10 grid positions for the next Race in which the driver participates. Reason The penalty is imposed in accordance with Article B8.2.8 of the FIA F1 Regulations. The use of each additional element in this case carries a 5 grid place penalty therefore there is an accumulation of 10 places. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits. Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
