Time 17:30 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Race Fact The Driver did not follow the Race Director's instruction considering practice starts (item 13.6 of the Competition Notes) by crossing the white line at pit exit and subsequently cutting back in to make a practice start. Infringement Breach of Article 12.2.1.i of the International Sporting Code and non-compliance with Race Director's Competition Notes (item 13.6, document 6).

Decision No penalty is applied. Reason The Stewards reviewed in-car video evidence. Car 30 was trying to line up for a practice start, but encountered another car which stopped in the pit exit road. In the process of passing this car and then making way for it after it started moving, Car 30 crossed the white line at pit exit at slow speed. After that, Car 30 crossed the line again to line up for a practice start as originally planned. The Stewards determine that, albeit a breach technically occurred, the actions taken by the driver of Car 30 were appropriate given the circumstances and therefore do not apply any penalty. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
