The Stewards, having received a report from the Technical Delegate (document 28), have considered the following matter and determine the following:

No / Driver 22 - Yuki Tsunoda Competitor Oracle Red Bull Racing Time 09:41 Session Sprint Qualifying Fact The setup of the car has been changed while under Parc Ferme. The rear wing specification has been changed while under Parc Ferme.

Infringement Breach of Article 40.9 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision Required to start the Sprint from the pit lane. Reason Oracle Red Bull Racing changed the setup of Car 22 under Parc Ferme, with the approval of the Technical Delegate. The car is therefore required to start the Sprint from pit lane as per Article 40.9 b) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations.

Also Oracle Red Bull Racing changed the front wing/nose assembly of Car 22 under Parc Ferme with the approval of the Technical Delegate in accordance with Article 40.3 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. However, the assembly is of a different specification, which is a breach of Article 40.9 and Car 22 is required to start the Sprint from pit lane.

Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits. Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
