Time 21:15 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

No / Driver 23 - Alexander Albon Competitor Atlassian Williams Racing Time 20:01 Fact Car 23 exceeded the pit lane speed limit when leaving the grid on the Formation Lap. Infringement Breach of Article 44.7 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision Driver: Reprimand (Driving). This is the driver's 3rd reprimand of the season.

Reason The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video, and timing evidence. The driver failed to set his speed limiter for the formation lap and under the regulations was required to maintain the pit lane speed limit until passing the pole position.  In this case there was a radio failure and the team was unable to advise the driver to set the speed limiter.  Subsequently he reached 92 km/h prior to passing pole position. As no sporting advantage was gained, a Reprimand was determined to be the appropriate penalty. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits. Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
