The internal combustion engine used by Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda is the fifth (5) of the four (4) new internal combustion engines allowed for the 2024 Championship season and this is not in conformity with Article 28.2 of the 2024 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The turbocharger used by Yuki Tsunoda is the fifth (5) of the four (4) new turbochargers allowed for the 2024 Championship season and this is not in conformity with Article 28.2 of the 2024 Formula One Sporting Regulations. ## Number Car Driver Previously used MGU-H 31 Alpine Renault Esteban Ocon 3 23 Williams Mercedes Alexander Albon 3 22 RB Honda RBPT Yuki Tsunoda 4 The motor generator unit-heat used by Esteban Ocon and Alexander Albon is one (1) of the four - (4) new motor generator units-heat allowed for the 2024 Championship season and this is in conformity with Article 28.2 of the 2024 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The motor generator unit-heat used by Yuki Tsunoda is the fifth (5) of the four (4) new motor generator units-heat allowed for the 2024 Championship season and this is not in conformity with Article 28.2 of the 2024 Formula One Sporting Regulations.
