Technical Delegate’s Report

During the Pirelli tyre test, which took place in the first 30 minutes of the second free practice session, from 15:00 to 15:30, car number 03, driver Daniel Ricciardo, did not use the two test tyre sets as allocated. The car was fitted with the front left tyre of the sets in the opposite way:

As Article 24.2 a) of the 2020 Formula One Sporting Regulations requires the driver to use the complete set of tyres of the same specification and as allocated by the FIA, I am referring this matter to the stewards for their consideration.
