Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN Document 57 Date 05 July 2020 Time 18:42 2020 AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX 2 - 5 July 2020 The Stewards The Stewards, having received a report from the Technical Delegate (document 53), summoned (document 51) and heard from the team representative, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

Session Race Fact Release from a pit stop in an unsafe condition of car 7. Offence Breach of Article 28.13 c) of FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision The competitor is fined € 5,000.

Reason The Stewards heard from the team representative and reviewed video and technical evidence provided by the FIA Technical Delegate, as well as car telemetry provided by the team. Having examined photos of the damaged wheel and the axle shaft it is evident that the wheel nut of the RHS front wheel got cross threaded during the wheel change which was not identified by the wheel gun operator. As a consequence the right back wheel went off when the car was back in the race. The Stewards accept however that neither the team, nor the driver had the opportunity to realise that the car was in unsafe condition and therefore did not stop the car. Taking into account these circumstances a fine of € 5,000 is appropriate. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 10.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time
