Session Qualifying Fact A 4th Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), 4th Turbo Charger (TC), 4th Motor Generator Unit - Heat (MGU-H), 3rd Motor Generator Unit - Kinetic (MGU-K) and 3rd Control Electronics have been used.

Offence Breach of Article 23.3 (a) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision Required to start the race from the rear of the starting grid. However, this penalty does not change the fact that the competitor is required to start from the Pit Lane for a prior infringement (document 27). Reason The penalty is imposed in accordance to with Article 23.3 b) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Competitors are reminded of their right to appeal in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code.
