Session Race Fact Car 7 moved before the start signal was given. Offence Breach of Article 36.13 a) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision Drive through penalty. (2 penalty points imposed, total of 2 in the 12 month period)

Reason The Stewards reviewed video evidence and the jump-start report based on the information from the FIA approved and supplied transponder fitted to each car and found that car 7 had moved before the start signal was given. This was clearly visible as car 7 moved forward while the light(s) were illuminated red and was therefore out of position at the start. This was a breach of Article 36.13(a) of the 2019 FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations and Article 8.6.1.b of the International Sporting Code. Although car 7 moved before the start signal, it was determined that he did not gain an advantage by doing so. The penalty prescribed for this infringement, where no advantage is gained, is a mandatory drive through penalty. The Stewards accordingly so ordered. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 9.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
