Session Qualifying Fact Alleged Unsafe release of car 26.

Offence Breach of Article 28.13 (a) of the 2019 FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Decision No Further Action. Reason The Stewards reviewed video evidence, heard from the drivers of Car 26 (Daniil Kvyat) and Car 8 (Romain Grosjean) and the team representatives. It was apparent that Car 26 was released from the garage almost simultaneously with Car 8 and that the mechanic releasing car 26 would not have seen car 8 until Kvyat was already moving. While car 8 had to take avoiding action, both drivers agreed that the situation was not significant, and the Stewards determined to take no further action. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 9.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
