Date 22 June 2019 Time 17:23 2019 FRENCH GRAND PRIX 20 - 23 June 2019 The Stewards The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, summoned (documents 27 and 28) and heard from the drivers and team representatives, have considered the following matter and determine the following:

### No / Driver 3 - Daniel Ricciardo Competitor Renault F1 Team

Session Qualifying Fact Car 3 alleged to have unnecessarily impeded car 7 in turn 11. Offence Alleged Breach of Article 31.5 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations.

Decision No Further Action. Reason The Stewards reviewed video evidence and heard from the driver of car 3 (Daniel Ricciardo) and the driver of car 7 (Kimi Raikkonen) and the team representatives. Ricciardo explained that he had been advised by the team that Raikkonen was closing on a fast lap and attempted to move out of the way. Both drivers agreed that had Ricciardo taken any other line it would probably have affected Raikkonen in any case and both agreed that given the location on the track that the cars approached each other, no other reasonable action could have mitigated the circumstances. Therefore, the Stewards find that Ricciardo did not "Unnecessarily Impede." Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article 9.1.1 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
